• Chicago’s Essex Inn may change the Key Club Loyalty Program rules, regulations, benefits or processes, and special offers at any time without notice. You are responsible for periodically visiting this site to view any changes.

• Membership in the Key Club Guest Loyalty Program is free and is available to individuals residing in countries that legally permit participation in frequent stay programs. Participation in the Key Club Guest Loyalty Program indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions as well as of any changes or modifications made to them.

• No purchase is necessary for Key Club membership. Must be 21 years or older to participate.

• The Key Club is a paperless, electronic customer loyalty program.

• Fraud or abuse of the Key Club Loyalty Program membership privileges and benefits is subject to appropriate administrative and/or legal action by Chicago’s Essex Inn, including the termination of Key Club privileges, and revocation of membership

• Chicago’s Essex Inn makes no warranties or representations, either expressed or implied, and expressly disclaims any and all liability (including consequential damages) with respect to type, quality or fitness of goods or services provided through the Key Club Loyalty Program

• Neither Chicago’s Essex Inn Key Club nor our Program partners are responsible for requests or correspondence lost or delayed in the mail or via electronic mail. Chicago’s Essex Inn is not responsible for, and reserves the right to correct, any pricing or typographical errors, errors of description, or errors regarding participating partners.

• The sale or barter of any Key Club credits or other privileges (other than by Chicago’s Essex Inn) is prohibited.

• Nights and stay credits as well as benefits and values have no cash value and are non-transferable.

• You will not receive credit for any rooms booked or paid for by other individuals including, but not limited to, friends or family members.

• Corporations, associations and groups cannot enroll in the Key Club Loyalty program.

• Respecting your privacy is important for us. However, we may from time to time send you certain program information that may include, but is not limited to, marketing materials which will inform you of special offers and products we believe would be of interest to you. You will be given the opportunity to opt-out from receiving these materials. Please see our privacy policy for more details.

• All interpretations of these Membership Rules, terms and conditions shall be at the sole discretion of Chicago’s Essex Inn.

• A stay is defined as all consecutive nights at one hotel, even if the Member checks out and checks back in during those dates.

• Only one Member per room will receive credit for each stay. Requests to divide or consolidate folios after the stay will not be accepted. Membership benefits apply for the Member only and are not transferable.

• Key Club Loyalty Program nights or stays are not earned for no-show or cancellation charges.

• We reserve the right to deduct any Key Club Loyalty Program stays or nights credited to an account in error.

• Members cannot earn nights or stays retroactively for stays in previous years.

• Qualification for Membership Levels will be determined based on a rolling 12-month cycle, beginning January 1, 2011. If a Member does not earn enough qualifying nights or stays during the 12 months following a change in level to move to the next level or to maintain the Member’s existing level of membership, the Member will be downgraded to the next-lower level of membership on the 1-year anniversary of earning that status.

• A Key Club membership number must be used when making a reservation in order to ensure proper credit for your stay.

• Key Club members will not earn credit and are not eligible for any in-hotel benefits or privileges when booking through pre-paid and opaque channels, such as, but not limited to, priceline.com, expedia.com, hotels.com, hotwire.com, lastminute.com, travelocity.com (non-retail rates), orbitz.com (non-retail rates), travelweb.com (non-retail rates) etc.

• Other rates that do not earn Key Club credits include crew rates, employee rates, complimentary rates, and certain contracted rates.

• Travelers using vouchers for payment or traveling with a group are not eligible for points.

• Whenever possible, personal preferences as indicated in the member's online profile will be met, based on availability.

• Stay or nights credits may or may not be awarded for special promotions.

• Membership will be suspended after two years of account inactivity.

• Members are bound by these Terms and Conditions and by all applicable laws.
